Servant leadership training
for conference officers
Training consists of a general session focused on principles of servant leadership followed by breakout sessions for Pres/VP, Sec/Treasurer, and Spiritual Directors. The breakout sessions will cover best practices and tools for success. All conference officers are encourage to attend!

Ozanam Orientation
Join Vincentians from our district for Ozanam Orientation, the cornerstone formation opportunity that unites Vincentians worldwide. You will learn about the history and evolution of SVdP throughout the world, the foundation of Vincentian spirituality, and gain understanding of and practice in the Vincentian home visit. Lunch and fellowship included!

When: Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025 (You must attend both evenings.)​
Where: SVDP District Council (520 Crescent Avenue, South Bend, IN 46617)
​Time: 5:00-7:30 PM each night

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Feel free to bring a sack lunch if you'd like.

NOTE: National Council Guidelines require Vincentians to attend an Ozanam Orientation within one year of joining the Society. It is highly recommended that Vincentians participate in Ozanam Orientation every few years to renew and deepen understand of the Vincentian vocation.
The District Council Board and staff acknowledge that longer that preferable time has past since the last time an Ozanam Orientation was offered. For this reason, in the case that we have a large response, preference will be given to those Vincentian who have never had the opportunity to attend an Ozanam Orientation. The District Council is committed to providing Ozanam orientation regularly based on the need communicated by our conferences.​​​​​
