The St. Vincent de Paul Society provides food assistance to individuals and families in need. This ordinarily occurs through person-to-person contact in the home.
To receive food assistance, call the Emergency Assistance office at (574) 234-6000 option 1, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. until Noon.
Requests for Emergency Food Service may be made once every 30 days – for a total of 4 times in 12 months.
If you live in an area that is currently served by a Vincentian Conference, we will submit a request for you. A Vincentian volunteer will call you to set up food delivery.
If you do not have a phone, we will need a contact number in order to receive service.
If for some reason, delivery to your home is not an option, our food pantry and bread basket are open for business at the St. Vincent de Paul building located at 520 Crescent Avenue, South Bend. For more information, click here!
